We have a new moon in Scorpio on November 1st 2024. During this new moon, and this entire lunar cycle, we are fortunate to have a powerful divine feminine goddess and force of nature coming through to support us in times of transformation: Goddess and Dwarf Planet Eris.

The discovery of Eris in 2005 sparked a revolution in our understanding of the solar system. Eris' discovery caused Pluto to be switched in classification from planet to dwarf planet in our solar system. Beyond her own status as a dwarf planet, Eris has taken on a symbolic meaning that resonates deeply with feminist ideologies. Named after the Greek goddess often associated with discord and strife, Eris embodies the complexity of feminine power—an archetype that challenges traditional narratives and invites us to explore themes of strength, defiance of overinflated ego, and social justice.

In Greek mythology, Eris was much more than a figure of chaos, she was and is a catalyst for change. Her involvement in the events leading to the Trojan War highlights her role in exposing the superficiality of beauty and the pitfalls of envy.
