The Super Full Moon in Scorpio takes place on April 26/27 and provides us the challenge and invitation to move beyond linear time.

We have a T-square between la luna in Scorpio, Saturn in Aquarius, & our Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mercury in Taurus. This combined with the general shift of energies from Aries into Taurus support us in  grounding down and moving within.

I mention in the podcast that this full moon offers us the opportunity to shift from linear to circular time. This is a concept I have been grappling with for several years, it is now becoming more clear. One possible metaphor is that humanity has been on a conveyor belt of sorts, where we've been fed information about what is true and real and how to live and be. This information, while somewhat helpful is only part of the information available to us now. Every person has free will and sovereignty to choose the story and the timeline that feels most suitable for them. The linear timeline has us beholding to the way things were, as if that is the only truth available.

I offer in the podcast that circular time offers the possibility that there is an infinite potential for each of us, as well as for our collective. Circular time embraces the cycles of the universe: planets, sun, moon, stars, as well as seasons of our mother earth.  We are after all children of Her. Microcosms to the macrocosm of Her. Her cycles have always been circular. During this super full moon She is calling us home. ​

Ceres was the first and largest asteroid to be officially sighted orbiting between Mars and Jupiter. Although Ceres is still considered an asteroid by astrologers, astronomers have elevated her status to "Dwarf Planet."

As I mention in the broadcast, the myth of Ceres as per Greco Roman times leaves much to be discovered and rewritten. I offer in the broadcast that Ceres, as Demeter, as mother of Persephone (goddess of sprig and the underworld) consciously chose her mate as Zeus/Jupiter (king of the gods). Ceres herself is the goddess of protecting the process of transformation, as such she is showing up in our skies at this time to support us on our collective and personal transformational process. 

Ceres' Glyph-

Ceres glyph is a sickle and the cross of matter; the sickle represents Ceres' connection with agriculture and her role as the nourisher of mankind. The cross represents physical reality, and the four elements of matter: air, fire, earth, and water.

Also aligned in the skies a this new moon is the dwarf planet Eris. Discovered relatively recently, deemed a dwarf plant beyond Pluto, ultimately coming to hold her own status beyond Pluto. Eris means business as a warrior goddess and sister of Aries. After the discovery of Eris, Pluto became a dwarf planet as well! There are two glyphs for Eris, form on and form two.

Eris form one is very similar to what we now cal the Labrys. The Labrys, or double Moon-Axe, is found in many parts of the pre-patriarchal world. This is worth an entirely new blog post! I discuss it in the Goddess Consciousness course in more detail. for now we can consider that the glyph of Eris is invoking not only the triple moon goddess (maiden-mother-crone) but in particular the warrior goddess.

 Eris form two is an interesting twist on what we know in astrology as the symbol for mars. Mars' symbol, however has the arrow pointed up and out to the right, as if to express forward momentum and action. Eris' glyph has the same symbol pointed directly downward, as if to say "down and in", which is a definitely aspect of feminine power. It is also interesting to note that Eris is said to be the sister and feminine counterpart to Aries, and Aries is ruled by Mars. So this glyph apps denoted the feminine nature of warriorship.
