Welcome to eclipse season 2020! As I mention in the broadcast, we have a very special series of three eclipses in one month's time. This first eclipse, which happens on June 5th is unique as its overall cycle is shortened, making it an intense time for upgrades and healing. During this time we can choose to move beyond our collective pattern on living in linear time, into the harmonious natural rhythms of circular time. We can also expand our own ability to heal by offering even greater depths of compassion. 

First, linear vs circular time. Our ancestors lived by cycles of the moon and sun. They saw time as a cycle, continually renewing itself with new life, the fullness of life, and then the receding or dying off of life. They built ceremonial and time keeping sites, such as Stonehenge, to keep track of the cycles of the moon. Ancients kept track of moon cycles specifically to predict eclipses, as they understood how powerfully the moon affects all life and water on our planet. 

Fast forward to modern society, where we live by linear time. Counting hours in a forward moving direction, and constantly whizzing from place to place to place.. as if there is never enough time. Hopefully, with this time for staying at home many of us can feel the need to hop off that "conveyor belt".. and step into circular time!

​Second, compassion. With the stopping of linear time curing COVID, many have been challenged to reorganize, recoup and recalibrate. While this process of death and rebirth is universal, it has been sweet and easy for many of us, and extra challenging for many others. Which reminds us all that now more than ever, we can remember to take a moment and step into another person's shoes :)

Every year we have an astrological phenomenon called "The Pleiadian Portal."  In it's simplest terms its the time when our sun moves through the part of the Zodiac where the constellation Pleiades is located.

The Pleiadian Portal happens pretty much like clockwork, each year from May 16-24. It is the time when our sun syncs up with and gets downloads from the constellation Pleiades, and the light beings known as Pleiadans who live there. What it means specifically is unique to each year, as these beings of light are here to help humanity lighten up, literally to shine more brightly and become more of the light beings that we ultimately are. 

This year the energies are truly high vibrational, and they remind us that we are perfectly positioned in the grand cycles of time, that this lifetime is truly a powerful one... as we are living through sunrise. According to Andean shamanic tradition, we will be able to fully see the sun in 2022. Fully seeing the sun reminds me of the process of creating in they physical world: first we imagine, then we hone and harness our vibration, finally we witness our dreams in physical reality. As I discuss in the podcast we have two years to continue on the path of remembering that we are powerful conscious creative beings of light. Enjoy the podcast!

We have 6 of 8 planets in retrograde as of May 12. The message for us is to move beyond fear! Most of us have been taught to fear retrogrades in general, as in that's the time when things malfunction. Caveat, things only really 'get messed up' because the course we were charting for ourselves did not take into account things that our soul knows is best for us. Put another way, when we are on course, retrogrades are simply times for revisiting, revising and upgrading.

In the podcast above I discuss the three planets that have just gone retrograde this week, as they seem to have a similar energetic theme for us. That theme is this:

As much as we want to move forward and into spaces and places that we feel we deserve and we can create, we are being invited to slow down, revise the structures of our inner and outer worlds and ultimately alchemize all of our life lessons with a dose of patience. 

As much as that sounds like a tall order, hopefully it is also comforting.

Everything is already as it should be. 

The good news is hat we have Celtic Goddess Cerridwen present right now more than ever. She is known as the Keeper of the Cauldron & Goddess of the Underworld. In the podcast I discuss her myth and legend. In this post, I want to share some images of her Judith Shaw of Feminism and Religion:

It is time to examine what circumstances in your life no longer serve you. Something must die so that something new and better can be born. Forging these fires of transformation will bring true inspiration into your life. As the Dark Goddess Cerridwen pursues her version of justice with ceaseless energy so can you breathe in the power of the Divine Feminine She offers, planting your seeds of change and pursuing their growth with a ceaseless energy of your own."

Finally, it's worth noting that there are theories among some scholars that Cerridwen's cauldron is in fact the Holy Grail for which King Arthur spent his life searching. There is certainly much crossover between the legend of Cerridwen and King Arthur. In the myth I mention in the podcast Cerridwen bears a son, his name is Taliesen. He becomes a notable bard in the court of Elffin, the Celtic prince who rescued him from the sea.  When Prince Elffin is captured, it is Taliesen's eloquence and wisdom that frees Elffin from his chains. After this feat, Cerridwen's son Taliesen becomes associated with Merlin the magician in the Arthurian cycle.

As I write, we have a super full moon in scorpio, as well as the north and south nodes of the moon changing signs. I discuss in today's podcast why this is the perfect energy for the elemental kingdom to make itself known to us humans once more. Put simply, scorpio full moon energies help us to uncover what may have been hidden beneath the surface from our consciousness... and the energy of the north & south nodes invites us to shift away from things like government control of the population and practical security and move towards rapid (instantaneous) communication with the higher dimensions. 

The elemental kingdom is just such a higher dimensional and higher frequency consciousness for us to consider inviting in and reconnecting with on a deep level. They carry specific information related to the elements, as such they are called elementals. If you try to see them, being careful, you can begin to make them out and connect with them. At first, they will key be invisible to the physical eyes. They begin to manifest themselves in fleeting appearances on the edge of the visual field. As soon as you stare at them, they disappear. Optimal times to begin to observe and connect with are dawn and dusk: you can see them by using the low-angled light of the setting sun. Dawn and twilight, are seen by many healers and visionaries as energetic gateways between two worlds. Time for geks as the Tibetans say. According to Carlos Castaneda, he who wants to accumulate energy only has to stay out for the duration of twilight: "When the day falls, there is no wind, there is only power."

I have come to believe that the elemental kingdom once interacting much more frequently and symbiotically with us humans. In ancient times these energies were treated like guardian spirits and way showers to work with the universal forces of nature. It was during the descent into darkness.. many associate with the dark and middle ages.. the the elemental kingdom stopped interacting so clearly with humans. They did so because it was not safe for them, and the humans thus stopped believing or remembering them. As such many of us only know of them in fairy tales. 

As an awakening adult, you may have already had the experience of remembering how you were told as a child that you had a "vivid imagination" or "liked to talk to plants and animals as if they could hear you" .. or perhaps that you just loved believing in and communicating with all the things that were beyond the physical world of the adults.. and so you might have been told you were "making things up." Regardless of all of that, the message today is that those nature spirits and powerful "little people" are feeling the call to reconnect with us humans, and we re likely feeling the call to reconnect with them as well.

Another way to describe this: as the vibration on our planet continues to raise, the elemental kingdom feel this and knows that humanity has the potential for reawakening. While they've never actually been gone, they have been hidden, and they know that right now we need them to hold us remember how to live in right relationship with our earth and all of it's inhabitants.

While the list of types of elemental beings is potentially infinite i offer four below and mention them in the podcast for us to potentially reconnect with: gnomes, trolls, sylphs, and fairies. I offer brief information on these four below, as always take what feels good for you!

Gnomes are the very ancient spirits of telluric forces. They are elementals associated with the earth element. They are found in the underworld, caves and mines, sunken lanes and woods. They cultivate respect, self-esteem, responsibility, temperance, and perseverance. Gnomes also take care of wounded wild animals.

Trolls are also earth elementals. They live underground or in rocks and work in mines with minerals, take care of the earth and the soil.  

Sylphs are spirits of the air element. They rule the wind, rain, storms and thunderstorms. The Sylph is a feeling of life, an intelligence that materialized in contact with the positive currents of space. Similar to fairies but with very large wings, almost angel-like beings, they take care of the wind and the purity of the air.

Fairies are also spirits of the air element. Born of the crystal within the mother earth, fairies are guardians of light. Adorned with colors and symbols of the rainbow, they can greatly support us in transforming dense or dark energies and we head into lighter times and our collective reawakening.

Fairies have valuable wisdom. This knowledge is within our reach if we know how to get in touch with them. They are fascinating, funny, charming and mostly very friendly. It is true that some are more shy, those ones will not answer. Some people describe two kinds of varies  or two "jobs" that they've witness fairies taking up. The first are the solitary fairies we can find around flowers and the second are the fairy troops or groups usually taking care of trees.
