Leo Full Moon: Queen Oonagh

Welcome to the Leo Full Moon :) Such magnanimous energy to support us in continuing to trust and stay present an be joyful.. as we are continuing along the journey of being renewed and reborn. I got the nudge to summarize the main astrological and celestial energies in a quick youtube video, which you can find below. I talk in depth about what's happening in the podcast as well!
The bulk of this post will be introducing Queen Oonagh and the Daoine Sidhe.. Here we go!

Goddess or Queen Oonagh has been termed "the Last Queen of the Fairys"... this is both a current and incorrect statement. She was the last Queen of the Daiine Sidhe (a group or race of Fae) before they retreated into higher dimensions and underground into the earth as humanity descended into dark ages. As such, the is the last seen of the Daoine Sidhe that we humans in the 3d world who live above ground know about. However, the Fae assure us that they have continued to exist in parallel dimensions with us and they have had other queens over time. Nevertheless Queen Oonagh is highly significant because she still exists across time and space to the Fae. As the last Queen known to humanity, she is here in her out of body form to support us in reconnecting with the Fae, specifically the Daoine Sidhe. 

The Daoine Sidhe are commonly known to be the descendants of the Tuatha Dé Danann (which translates into “People of the Goddess Danu”). They are known by a number of names, Daoine Sidhe for some translates into "people of the mounds" as they were said to retreat but into earth mounds as the world descended into darkness. They are also called "people of peace", lordly ones, Fair folk, Good folk... among other terms. All of these point to their magical fairy or Fae nature.  

The Daoine Sidhe were known as a race of Fae who were shapeshifters and powerful magicians. They are often described as beautiful  but also described as hideous beasts.. as they were able to take on whatever form they chose. In early Irish manuscripts, they are described as “gods and not gods.”

As humanity is awakening, it is fitting that now is the time when this race/group of higher dimensional beings would reemerge to support us in co-creating the new earth. They likely have a blueprint beyond our current imagination for his this is to unfold and be accomplished. I offer that it is our opportunity and potential soul's path to open ourselves to communicate and befriend the Fae at large and Daoine Sidhe. How do we do this? By connecting with the natural world, the plant and animal kingdoms that exist on earths skin. By befriending these kingdoms, the door swing open into the realm of the Fae. They often make contact within the play of light and breeze and sounds on the wind. You may meet one being in particular to work with or invite those around you at large to make contact. I offer in the broadcast above that Queen Oonagh is another steward of the Fae and Daoine Sidhe, and not only a wonderful goddess force in herself, but also an avenue into reconnecting with her people.
