Aquarius Super Full Moon: Lion's Gate

We have three energetic, astrological and astronomical events converging around the beginning of August. The first is the Lion's Gate, while the Lion's Gate is actually from the latter part of the July into until mid/late August, many see August 8th as the peak of this portal's energy. We also have a Super Full Moon in Aquarius, the fourth Super Moon in a row! This Super Full Moon is taking place in sync with a Fixed Grand Cross which is bringing us deeper realizations about things that we are ready to release and simultaneously grounding us down with tenacious and empowering energies.

The image at right gives us a better understanding of how Sirius A, the brightest start in our night sky, shares a gravitational orbit with Sirius B, a star which was only discovered by scientists in the 1970's, yet known by the Dogon tribe of Mali, West Africa, to be in existence thousands of years ago.
