Pisces Super Full Moon: Water Dragon Activation

We have the largest, most powerful super full moon of 2023 activating on August 30. I call this an "activation" because of the alignment of several other plants, in sync with this full moon. While luna is always in opposition to the sun during a full moon, we also have the moon conjunct retrograde Saturn and conjunct the trans-Naptunian object Gonggong. 

Let's first take a look at retrograde Saturn. While Saturn stations and goes retrograde about once each year for approximately 4 months, this particular retrograde is potent both because of Luna's conjunction with Gonggong, as well as because there are 6 of 10 planets retrograde as well as at least 4 celestial bodies activating and being retrograde. This means we have a lot of retrograde energy coming through to us during this full moon! While full moon's are always times of illumination, the type of illumination here will be about realizations from the past, as we are invited to look at experiences, beliefs and aspects of our lives that could use some revision.

For most in the 3d world the notion of "revising timelines" or "reframing experiences" seems odd. As we are trained in our linear time and fixed space belief systems to think that what happened in the past stays stuck that way, as if written in stone. One of the things I love about teaching energy healing is supporting my students in the experience of timeline revision. Consider for a moment how several people could witness the same thing happening, a wedding, an argument, a speech.. and all of them likely have a different experience of that event and "see'' different things happening. This gives us the hint that all of life is malleable. Everything we see is seen through our own lens of consciousness, which is informed by our past experiences, beliefs and understanding of the nature of reality. Long winded way of inviting you to consider that during this retrograde season you really CAN revise and rewrite the past! Satrun is activating with Luna and Gonggong to support this. 

We can really see the depth of this message when we consider Gonggong. Gonggong is considered a trans-Neptunian object, it is a dwarf planet, a member of the scattered disc beyond Neptune. I offer here, as I have before, that the outer planets beyond Jupiter and Saturn work with subtle energy. They are often never understood or misunderstood, precisely because most humans are so desensitized and overloaded with the noise of modern life that they have no idea what subtle energy is, let alone how it works. Many astrologers, myself included, see the outer planets are potentially more powerful than the inner planets we know so well and can often see working in our daily lives. I often say that "the outer planets always win" precisely because they work on the level of subtle energy. This means they work simultaneously here in the physical world as well as in higher dimensions. They are a sort of "dimension-bridger".. supporting us in raising our consciousness and remembering how to tune into and work with subtle energy. Gonggong's symbolism is controversial in that throughout chinese history is primarily written about as a source of chaos and destruction, a mighty force to be feared by humanity. I discuss the myth in the podcast above, and offer another interpretation of Gonggong as a harmonizing force in the universe, much like Ma'at and Libra.. I offer reasons why we can and should consider Gonggong a source of support for us in realigning with and remembering our true nature as powerful creators. With the Sun in opposition to the Moon, Saturn as well as Gonggong we may well have realizations about things in the physical 3d world that seem to be true.. things about ourselves and our experiences ... as malleable/shiftable.. not as "set in stone" and up for revision.  This is the magic of this unique alignment of planets, they are converging to offer a shift and lift in collective Karma. Satrun, being the planet of karma, Gongong being a dwarf planet of collective karma, aligning with the moon to support us remembering and revising our own inner knowledge (Gonggong is retrograde with Saturn :)
