Aries New Moon: Solar Eclipse Portal

The new moon in Aries on April 19/20 is also a powerful Solar Eclipse. It is the first new moon after a sequence of new moons at zero degrees. The sequence of zero degree new moons were seeding times; they were energetically signaling us to dream big and begin planting our seeds. This new moon happens at the anoretic degree of Aries, which coincides with shadow energy.

Shadow energy is not to be feared it is simply to be worked with. Every astrological sign in the  Zodiac has an anoretic degree, and by default a shadow side. For Aries, the sign of drive, action, and will, the shadow side would be uninformed action uninformed drive, uninformed will. During this eclipse we also have Pluto in Aquarius squaring all of the aspects in Aries, reminding us in its death and rebirth manner that we are headed into much letter and brighter and more expensive ways of being. Pluto in Aquarius reminds us that we are always fully supported, and that the structures that we see today are going to be massively transformed.
