One my favorite Hindu mantras: "Lokah Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu" translates as "May all beings be happy and free." The foundation behind the mantra is "May our thoughts and actions promote happiness and freedom for all". I was drawn to this mantra years ago as it reminded me that we are all always connected. Everything we do every day.. whether someone sees us do it or not, has an impact both on ourselves, those we care about, and the world at large. The message "May everything I do promote the happiness and freedom of all" as it baseline invokes the idea that we are all connected, and at its heart calls on us to move towards the highest brightest version of ourselves, not only fr personal evolution, but for healing and evolution of everyone and everything.
The notion that 'our thoughts create reality' is based on this. No one really knows or witnesses all of our thoughts and beliefs, yet the fact that we are all always connected allows our minds to understand that our thoughts and beliefs are what attract and create the life we live.
I came to understand "Lokah Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu" more fully when I looked at it through the lense of Karma. It is not only our thoughts and beliefs, but the intention behind what we think, feel, and do that carries the power towards manifestation. Karma is everything about who we are in this moment of this lifetime ~ everything we've lived in the past, all the beliefs we've healed and transformed together all the beliefs we still hold as true. Karma is our energy signature from many past lives and especially this life, it is all of our energy attracting exactly what we are experiencing today.
When we consider everything as energy, the intention behind our thoughts and actions provides the essence of the energy that we send out with our thoughts, beliefs, words, and actions. So beyond the thing we rationalize and sense with our mind, is the energy behind what we say and do.
We are all One.. and we're so much more than the present of 'here and now'. This meditation was created with the intention to help you to connect into the universal matrix, into the eternal Now. We are always new, we are always connected.
