Welcome to the final eclipse of 2018!
How are you feeling? There is much going on energetically here on earth and coming down from the planets and stars.
We have 5 of 7 planets in retrograde... which is not a bad thing, is a matter of being willing to reframe our focus and consciousness. Historically retrogrades were thought of negatively, as people were not ready nor able to 'upgrade' their consciousness.. now is different time! Here's what happens in a retrograde: a planet gets so close to earth that it appears to stop in its orbit.. this is actually not the case, what is happening is the planet is so close it is able to broadcast a very clear signal of its energy onto our planet. This is something we're not used to.. so, yes, it can make things go haywire if were not connected to ourselves and our purpose.. But when you connect to the energies of the earth.. and slow down and remember why you are here. The retrogrades can be oh so delightful... sort of like the feeling of winter, when you get to go inside and look within.
One more note about the retrogrades during this eclipse, which gives its its exceptional personality.. we've not had a 7 planet retrograde eclipse in 10s of years, and even the two planets not in retrograde are "on the cusp" - which means headed into and out of retrograde cycles... so the message is definitely to reflect and review and restore.
There is so much going on in the outside world and the challenge here is to really take time to connect to one's inner knowing. This looks differently for everyone, so do what feels right for you to connect and listen authentically to you.
Houseboat Party with Reflections on a Lake
This Symbol shows the ability, or the necessity, of being flexible, movable and prepared to celebrate with friends in a carefree atmosphere. Although still in a situation of definite structure and form, things may need to be taken from the more mundane, normal routine and given over to fun and unusual possibilities. This pictures lightening up, relaxing and spending time with like-minded and pleasure seeking people. However, if you find you have nowhere to anchor, no boat landing to land on, you could find yourself rather unmoored and unsettled and continually on the move looking for fun that may be somewhat unfulfilling in the end.
Emotive social pleasure. Leisure times. Fun and free-floating. Cleopatra style parties. Claustrophobia. Delicate social balances. Moving around. Adventurous spirits.
The Caution: Trapping people or feeling trapped. Self indulgence. Not knowing ‘where’ the party is. Not being moored in reality. Being ‘cast adrift’. Not being able to get off.
Much love and enjoy the eclipse!
